This was my favorite days. The views were spectacular and we ended
up at Refugio Tissi al Civetta which was near the very
edge of a cliff. Civetta means “owl” in Italian. The Civetta massif is shaped like an enormous trident. The north-west rock wall of this massif
is the biggest wall of all the Alps. We left our Rifugio at Staulanza, pictured here by car to the trail head.
