Because of a some important Italian bike race, our hiking guide had to take us on a unscheduled hike through trails that
clearly hadn't been traversed in who knows how long. There was often no clear path. We hiked uphill for hours through
tall mountain meadow grass - our guide, Lana, trailblazing the entire way. It was an exhausting day.
